Thought you might be intrested in seeing this project car we have been involved with. This car started life as a 1.6 Zetec S - now running full S2000 body kit - Please note this car is not a motorsport car only a running replica

It has taken us 2 years to re fabricate the car to allow for the wheelbase being moved forwards by 80mm and to increase the track and suspension travel

It is now about to have a 'race spec' ST180 engine and uprated transmission installed over the winter months

Another ancient post, where the op is long gone.

But, to all of the critics of the flares; that is the almost exact way that the M-Sport built S2000 FIA class Fiestas look(ed), but they were full-on AWD with sequential gearbox, but naturally aspirated 300 HP, 2 liter, rally cars.

This is a fabricated, FWD replica, with a FiST powertrain/drivetrain like the op states, but, he did a GREAT job with the replication! [twothumb]

Many national level competitive rallyists in open classes have taken these actual S2000 class cars and made 'proto' cars out of them by transplanting full Mitsu EVO Ralliart drivetrains into them (like Piotr Fetela campaigns here in ARA events), or even Focus WRC 2 liter turbo engines (like Barry McKenna used here in ARA events) into them.

Nope, in fact I am really glad that you dug this one up since I did not see it the whole time I was on here before this. [wink] Thanks! [thumb]

Sorry if the 'ancient post' thing bothered you. [:)]
