Had a blast today! Take a look at the award they are giving out to attendees. Its the real front brake caliper that comes on our cars. If you guys are attending, make sure you make some room in your luggage to bring this home. I had to lug it around the airport which was a paint in the butt.

Here a few more pictures from yesterday, from course instructions to racing, I'll try to upload some videos later one. Given that this is a limited event, I would really recommend that those that are on the fence to do it.

Brief classroom.

Heading to the track.

At the pit area.

Lead follow track time.

Driving by yourself.

Lunch break.

I'll post some videos of what we did after lunch once I get a chance to go through them.

So were you there 2 days then? Or was this all in one day?
Did you have an instructor in the car with you on the track?

Looks fantastic! I'm not sure I can even get on a list at this point... it's almost been a year.

Hi GhostRS, I was there for two days. 1 for the introduction and dinner, the other for the actual track day. The instructors walk you through every part of the events. They make it really safe and fun. Give them a call, they said they are really lenient when it comes to the Focus RS owners because of how quickly the events booked up. There were many guys there that had 2016 RS.

I wonder if the adrenaline academy cars will have the Drift Stick installed.

Couple of guys at the event brought up the Drift Stick too, they said there's no concrete plans but will look into it for next year.

Thanks for sharing seniorgeek which event did you like the most?
Track time of course, that is the track time with out the instructor. Instructor made us use sport mode. By myself I used track mode with out ESC. Ran much better.
Drift track was cool since I never tried before.
Autocross was good too. They called it "urbancross". 3rd fastest in my group.
The figure 8 and test all modes event were lame and I would much rather had more track time. (They probably were OK for a new owner)

I let them know in the course critique.

The drifting was really fun and I wished they gave us more time on that section.

Here's a video I took from the drift ride-along.

UturnJones how did you like it?
It. Was. Awesome. I have never been on a racetrack except for go-carts. It truly was an eye-opening experience. Riding with the instructor on the track was a great time. I will never be able to drive like that. I really want to buy an old zx3 or LX Mustang for autocross beatings. I don't think I want to do that to my shiny new RS.

We didn't get cream puffs or strawberry sauce [emoji852]️

haha good to hear man, glad you enjoyed it. The instructors really put you in your place after the ride along, really amazing that they can talk and drive so fast at the same time. Getting an old ZX3 would be a fun car, I used to have one and they are great on the tracks.

Glad you had a great time. The track time was the best for me. Second was the drift pad and third was the Autocross they called Urbancross. I could do with out all the rest of the stuff.
I guess because I have done many track days with my old car and the RS. My RS has Mountune intake, COBB air filter, COBB Rear motor mounts, Eibach springs, custom tune and you see why I liked the track best. I did notice that the AA cars didn't handle as good as mine and with the custom tune they did pull as hard either.

Oh well still had a good time and would recommend it to all RS owners.
