May want to note the weight is with ring gear attached, in case someone grabs # without seeing photo. I got 8.5 lbs for the diff and bearings, don't remember if I weighed or got the # online. I have it so could check if interested.

If you could check that would be handy. The more the weights the better. Keeps people from having to dig for the info.

Ok... Differential with bolts, bearings, races. No ring gear. Scale was tared for glass bowl underneath. 9lbs, .08oz.

Thanks for checking. Pretty close the the 8.5 lb I have. I'm thinking I didn't include the ring bolts, so very consistent. I know I had the bearing included as they weren't removed.

It is amazing to me that our tiny ring gear can handle the power which some on here (and elsewhere) are pushing through them, even if that BIG power does not come on at the bottom of the rev ranges. [???:)]

Thanks!

That CF hood is not bought, so the weight is relative to how they made the hood.

I am pretty sure that is not the correct weight for the midbrace. I had mine off recently and forgot to weigh it but I don't recall it being near 5 lbs that I recall. I will double check this later

I will add what can be or is confirmed.

I have an AC delete kit arriving next week and I'll post up weights of the factory components.
(y) Anxious to see the difference on this one, Primarily because where I live I have used the ac maybe 3 times in 3 years and always had the thought.

Are you pulling ALL of the lines/ducting/everything?
(Since you are building a track car, my guess is that the answer is YES. [wink])
I'm pulling as much as reasonably possible. I'm keeping it street legal so I plan to pull everything I can. Need to keep defroster for salvage inspection. I'd say I'm average to slightly above average mechanically so it should be a challenge but not too bad. I keep meaning to start a build thread here. I've done a lot to it so far.

I just realized I need to buy a scale. My kitchen scale only goes up to 11 lbs and my bathroom scale is...well...let's just say it's broken but I don't need a working scale to tell me I'm fat.

Does the oem terminals fit the odyssey pc680 fine? I noticed on Amazon they try to sell you extra terminals to make it seem like part of a kit. And does it fit ok in the stock battery box? Or should I just go ahead and get the mele mount?

If I remember correctly, the battery comes with sockets and the screw-in posts are extra. You need the posts.

You can use the stock box but you'll need some high-density foam or something similar to take up the extra space. I have the Mele box; it's a perfect fit and frees up some space in that corner.

Ok got some time in the garage today.

A/C compressor - 13.4 lbs
A/C delete bracket with pulley - 0.7 lbs

Have not weighed the lines but I will.

I have my car mostly in pieces, will be weighing door panels, center console, airbags, crash bars, etc. Anything else specific somebody wants me to weigh?
