Any more updates with the G25-550 yet? I recently talked with my tuner and told him I want to make more power. I asked him if I should go to a Xona Rotor 4951, or G25-550. He just told me to build my motor first. I'd really like to make ~425-450.
So far I’m underwhelmed with my 93 final tune numbers on vdyno, that’s not to say they’re accurate. Although, it feels like a little beast. It sounds incredible and makes people grab for the walls. I haven’t really been able to send it with my ethanol tune yet... it’s a slow process so far tuning for e85. I actually haven’t left beyond 5k rpm yet with ethanol... still working out the auxiliary fueling. If you stick around I’ll keep posting the progression as it plays out. I do not have a built motor, yet, but the turbo does great as is on my stock block. Naturally you’ll just need to keep it detuned before really letting the turbo shine all of its glory. I think the turbo first or the motor first is a good idea lol... doesn’t really matter. No matter what for the numbers you, and I, are looking for you’ll certainly need both.

You shouldn't have any problems unless you're pushing big numbers. My tuner told me it was only an issue with high power Fiestas. I don't have any issues on my pump gas tune, but occasionally have false knock on ethanol.
Good to hear, going S280 but stock fueling for now so we will see how it goes.

I’ve been working through plenty with all this… false knock to start. Changed mounts and nothing happened… had to pull back off of e85 because it was flooding the pistons and producing knock in cyl 1. That’s what I was told anyways. So now I’m running e50… it has helped. I’m still running global knock corrections though, however. Then ran into fuel pressure issues, that’s where I’m at now. I was seeing Aprox 40-50psi on the lowside pressure under full load. Replaced my fuel filter, didn’t help, cleaned all contacts and dielectric greased them, no help. Checked voltage at the pump, checked out fine. Swapped relays, no help. So figured I’d remove the bravo alpha dw300 pump and revert to OEM. While removing the pump I found the issue, check it out in pic below. The pickup hose blew/split in the pump. Working with manufacture now to correct the issue and continue the tuning process. I’ll also attach the most recent log/vdyno below.

Did you add an inline filter, or are you referring to that 'sock' thing at the bottom of the in-tank pump assembly?
It’s an auxiliary inline filter that was added after the fact, because the one within the OEM pump was removed to accommodate space/flow for the aftermarket DW pump within the housing.

Finally got around to doing some rust restoration. Used an assortment of products based on research and input from you all. The car absolutely needs professional paint correction at some point. I’ll be addressing the undercarriage some other season to come, but for now this will get the car by until then. Shouldn’t need to buy a new hood, doors or trunk anymore. That’s a win. Doesn’t look the best, but certainly isn’t awful, pretty pleased with the immediate results. See how they weather the test of time. Car won’t see any winter and try not to ever drive in rain, so I assume all will be good and well.

Returning to stock turbo formation… will be selling Peron g25-550 setup, 2J intake, bravo fuel pump, 5bar map sensor, all PnP adapters harnesses, strat 4 port aux fuel, 2J MAF extension adapter etc etc. Reverting because I need the car to be a full time daily driver again… work flow is switching, commute is getting larger. Excited to revert! I actually kinda miss the stock format of the fiesta. Punchy little go-kart… blessing and curse. It’s been fun while it all lasted. Hopefully someone picks up my full kit and sends it super hard to the moon. IMO it doesn’t really get any better then the setup I had. Unless you prefer the hybrid style…. G25-550 was where it’s at. I will start pulling parts soon and make the transition at a slow pace. No real rush, but please let me know if anyone has interest in said parts. They’ve got about 5-7k mi on them.

This was one of the few builds I was keeping a close eye on. It's setup is unique and the build in total is tasteful. I'm very interested in that turbo in particular and would relish the chance to put it to work. 😎
Thank you very much! If you end up wanting the whole thing let me know!

Couldn't resist... Had the turbo kit up for sale for too long and so life changed again lol. Quitting my newly acquired job and starting my own company.... Sooooo, the fiesta can live again. Woot! Look at this sad filthy paperweight of a car. Turbo kit, and aux fuel totally reinstalled. I'm praying I make it through the tuning process this time with little to no issues. Just need to pick up a new MAP sensor, cuz I sold mine in this detune process. Other than that basically good to restart! Ordered a new exhaust VVT solenoid because my intake broke it, then I broke it more. That's on the way. I have a bunch of refresh maintenance planned for the car... Have some b8s and new suspension to install, ditching the meisterRs. They'll be free if anyone wants them. New pads and rotors, SS brake lines, rust restore list annoyingly long beyond that tbh. Anywho, here are some garbage photos... My "new" phone is a troll. Feels great to be back into the swing of car building. Such good times....

WAIT.....Free Meister Rs? Are you kidding? Send me Pics kirk as to inspect their condition!
They're garbage, they've been on the car since I bought it. The adjustment ring for ride height is seized, bump stops dry, and bezzles toast. They ride alrighty.. might be able to fix them? But yeah, for sure... Anyone can have them when they come off just pay shipping.

I can honestly say I'm VERY HAPPY to see this thing being put back together. I've always loved this build and cannot wait to see it reach her peak.
Thanks man! Appreciate the encouragement... I'm stoked it gets to see another day as well. Slowly but surely. Fingers crossed for tuning being a breeze this time around.

Was able to finally change my intermediate and primary ebrake cable sets. I haven't had an emergency brake for over a year. So that's comforting! Turns out the pivoting arm on my driver's side caliper that sets the brake was actually seized. I think that's why my cable stretched originally. PB and some smacking freed it all up. My heat shield nuts were rusted and going to snap the bolt if removed... So, I had to cut away some of the shield to access the lower connecting point of the cables. Bummer, but it worked. Had wifey on installing new whoosh stainless steel brake lines, that was rad and helpful. Def need to bleed the brakes now. Car is finally off stands and back on the ground after almost 8 months. New exhaust VVT solenoid installed, MAP sensor received. Now just waiting on the dizzy adapter and base tune to hit the roads.
