When I run my Altimax Arctic 12s in 195/60-15s on a 15x7 wheel in either the cold dry, or on warm pavement when getting to the gravel stages while working summer rallies, I always bump the pressures up exponentially (like to 50 PSI or more!), and they lose much less turn-in response than at lower pressures, despite the 'squimy' tread pattern.

Given, these tires are NOT as 'spongy' a rubber compound as the more ice oriented donuts out there, like the x-Icees, or the Blizzaks. [wink]

Good points, maybe I'll try even something like 40psi.
