I’ve got to put a replacement engine in my car.
Should I stick to an st engine or can I put a Mondeo 2.0 duratec low mileage 05? Are they the same engine.
Thanks in advance

Im pretty sure the 1.6 ecoboost is its own engine.

The 2.0 ecoboosts are based on the Mazda L engine. I believe the 2.0 and 2.3 duratecs are too.

The 2.0 Duratec and 1.6 EB are completely different engine. You can find complete 1.6 EB engines from the Escape petty easily. I believe that the engines and turbos are the same. You'll have to swap flywheels.
