Centerline Storm Wheels

Some are familiar with my polishing the stock wheel experience that didn't turn out as planned. I managed to find some Centerline Storm rotary forged 17x7's in a 4x108 polished as NOS. As listed with 15lb weight per wheel. They are pretty basic 5 spoke with a small lip, 42mm offset, cheap local off the shelf price. I am going to pick them up tomorrow here is a link.

Here are a couple of pics after I threw a coat of wax on before they are off to get some donuts put on. Weight unofficially on my bathroom scale says 15lbs, 17x7 42mm offset.

Here are some pics installed with Michelin 205/45/17 AS3. I was apprehensive about my tire width choice but now that they are mounted I am very happy. Pretty much square with tire and maximum contact patch.

I'll be honest and say they are a little bling. Just to be clear they are polished aluminum, not chrome so they will oxidize and I hope to reduce the shine slightly.

Could always plasti dip them, change the look and it protects them and peels right off whenever you want, plus it's cheap

For now I am gonna roll with them as is, but I have seen these wheels with the spokes plastidipped and it looked good.
