"By using a 55% larger core with streamlined piping that is a direct bolt-on solution, your Fiesta ST will come alive with charge air that's up to 100 DEGREES COOLER."

Marketing engine on overdrive!

At first I was kinda bummed, airtec plus piping is more than cobb plus piping. Then I remembered I got the black intercooler. Bwahaha ;) I WILL be ordering those pipes today

Hey thanks for posting....

Finally...Cobb's entire IC kit is available and looks very well done...Interesting that they also note that "charge air temps up to 100 DEGREES COOLER" than stock...can't wait to see some supporting data....

Now I've been waiting awhile for Cobb's IC "kit" to be released and since they're not that far from my home I think I'm gonna have to take a drive over to Cobb sometime soon to get hooked up...;)

You can look at my FMIC thread for real-world supporting data. ;)

It's a great FMIC for this car on stock turbo.
thanks...yes...I've been following your posts.... still would like to see some from Cobb as well...

I'm reasonably loose with funds, but I can't pony up $345 for two pipes. Knock $100 off, and it would have already been ordered.

Sure, but I prefer it to be professionally powdercoated. I was just making an official excuse to make me feel better for paying about 50 bucks more overall by going with the Airtec FMIC from Auto Specialists and pipes through Cobb. Seriously though, the Airtec and FMIC are like carbon copies ;)

That FMIC looks awfully familiar. ;)
The COBB Fiesta ST FMIC is 100% custom designed in-house. I can't say where other FMIC designs were found, but I can give belly rubs to the engineer that made the CAD drawings for our endtanks.

Well they look exactly the same. Good news is if it works exactly the same you have a great product. ;)
