No problem, I didn't remove the sub frame either and it a complete pita to get your hands in there and try and push the freaky steel cap down and install the bolts.

Any chance you recall the thread size of the bolts for the mounts?

take the oem bolt to home Depot. they have a thread guage you can screw the one into to find the thread size

There 10mm, don't know the pitch. I remove the two small skid plates and brackets on each side directly behind the K frame to get more room and one the those mounting bolts is what I used. Just happened to be the right length.

I might try that. I found the bolts are M10x1.50
