^^^IF I had the $7K+ laying around, the R2 Reigers would already be on my car. [wink] [thumb]

I need something which is going to stand up to the pounding of upper New England's forestry roads (on which NEFR's stages are run), which are most definitely NOT 'smooth' gravel roads, and much rougher than most SCCA Rallycross events.

There are 'baby's heads' EVERYWHERE embedded into the road, and BIG, bottoming out, hits to the suspension every foot of the way.
Washouts, almost 'boulder field' type sections, and roads which are NEVER graded are the norm there.

The Meisters, or even the FA 500s/510s are really a street/open track type coil over, and yes quite up to the task of, and fully strong enough to be hitting curbing at the track, and standing up to most broken street pavement, but these logging roads are a whole 'nother world.

Has anyone taken data logs of their ECT before and after adding hood vents?

Looking at something along the lines of the track spec hood vent.

We are hitting 225-230+ after 3-5 minutes on track. We have an airtec oil cooler, mountune radiator, and whoosh V2 intercooler.
Improving air ducting around Mountune radiator and removing flaps from OEM fan shroud helped me.

Ended up with Msport WRC hood vents plus sealed the area in front of the rad to the grill area.

Here are the vents that we run. When ambient temperatures are in the 96+F range with humidity, the hood vents were good for ~ 10-15F.

Without the vents the car would hit 235-240, and start to pull power on clear empty track
With the vents the coolant temp was 215-225, and when not running a time attack style session temps were 205-210.
