How many RS?

Does anyone know how many RS's they are making per year? Since it's a limited edition vehicle, I was curious.
I was hoping my welcome kit I got would say "yours is XXXX of XXXX made", but it doesn't.

This is what I was thinking as well... I don't know if your VIN is any indication, but the last 4 of mine are 8186

Considering that the Focus RS is sold in 42 countries worldwide and there were over 3k orders placed in the UK alone. I'd say the numbers are pretty high, would be something great to know though.

In the other Focus RS forum they say US VINs started around 3000. From what I've read you can go to the ETIS website and type in your VIN and you can get the information regarding build,dates, shipping etc. Mine is 5816.

According to Ford's 2016 VIN Guide the 12-17 digits are the production sequence number, http://www.fleet.ford.com/resources...ntenance/vin-decoder/2016_VIN_Guide_Final.pdf

My VIN is WF0DP3TH7G4114383 produced on 04-24-2016.

I found another VIN from Cars.com with a VIN of WF0DP3TH2H4121209 produced on 12-23-2016.

Assuming that these sequence numbers are only used on producing the Focus RS and no other Focus or Ford models we can assume:

21209 - 14383 = 6826 / 8 Months = 853 Focus RS produced a month.

853 x 12 = roughly 10,200 Focus RS Produced a year.

You'll need to send him your VIN boerni@yahoo.com and it'll cost you about $35.
