My wife and I had a '99 Mustang for a couple of years when we first got married (V6, auto, soft top), and she's got a Scion now, but I've always been a motorcyclist, and this Fiesta is the first car we've ever had for me to daily drive. Loving it so far! Keeps the rain off, and only slightly heavier than my Bonneville was.

It's my first Ford from an ownership perspective. I've always been a Honda/Subaru/Toyota guy. I did have many Ford company vehicles through the years though. '01 Explorer, '05 Taurus, '08 Escape, and '10 Transit Connect which didn't give me much trouble.

The first for me, looks like the FiST is very adept at converting people. We did have a 1980 Ford F-150 long bed when I was a kid, a great truck with a horrible transmission. It did get 20 mpg with its incredibly torquey 300cid six.

My very first Ford was a 1994 Ford Aspire, that little car got me through college. I then leased a 1999 Ford Escort, and then a 2001 Ford Focus. The FiST is my first Ford in 12 years.

First Ford for me.

Sold a Cadillac wagon for the FiST and have no regrets.

So far I'm having lots of fun with the FiST!!

First ford for me, I'm 27, after my older brother, 31, sold his focus ST (which I thought was an awesome car and was really my first exposure to the ST line) and ordered the focus RS, I discovered the fiST and after watching every single review and finally seeing the British top gear episode where Hammond can't stop smiling, I was sold. Easily the best car I've ever purchased, quite possibly even the best purchase I've ever made.

nope its not I'm Steve, who is Elwood someone you know?
Elwood Blues (Dan Aykroyd) in the Blues Brothers movie bought an old police cruiser. There's a pretty funny scene when he picks his brother up from prison in the ex-cop car.

Nope. Ford has always been a part of my life, both good and bad. Very first car was a '87 Escort "pony." 4 speed manual haha. Also had a '94 Explorer Eddie Bauer and a '97 Mustang.

Replacing a blue ~330k '94 Ford Escort four door Sedan. Original engine, transmission, even the A/C are all still functioning well. Reason for replacement ? It's rusting out, ass-first. The latest straw was the passenger side trailing arm rusting out and breaking. Undercoat and paint looks good (almost never wash it) but tapping around back there, it's all rust. Without a solid trailing arm mount it is structurally unsound. Plastic bumpers and hood are the only items to have lost their clear coat. Very reliable.

Only owned 1 Ford in the past which was an 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis, easily the most reliable hunk of shit I've ever seen. The clearcoat was pealing and the alignment was off but somehow managed to massage the 5.0 to 24mpg on a regular. Had cigarette lighters all over the place and was great to haul friends around.

Well, my first Ford was a Fiesta, but not an ST. It was a 1978 Fiesta base, followed by a 1980 Fiesta Ghia. Numerous Mustangs and M3s later, I'm back in a Fiesta, happier than ever.
