Mt first car was a 1992 Ford Tempo. From there I bout my current 2003 Ford ZX2. I bought a 1998 Ford ZX2 to fix and resell. Had that for about 6 months. Now I'm waiting on my factory ordered 2016 Fiesta ST.

94 eddie bauer bronco was the 1st ford, 96 ford taurus, then onto a 99 mercury cougar(still a ford... branded as a ford in europe, which was interesting on forums people would swap parts),99 mustang gt, 03 f250 superduty lariet, 03 ford explorer, 04 ranger, then the fist 2015...

Next maybe a new top of the line 2016 mustang gt or i may switch brands to a jeep wrangler unlimited.

5 ford rangers:

2000 3.0l 2wd (build into race truck/sold)
1991 4.0l 2wd (built into mild prerunner/blew head)
1994 4.0l 4wd (turned into race truck/sold)
2009 2.3l 2wd (still have)
2005 4.0l 4wd (mild prerunner /destroyed vales/ used as trade-in on my new 2015 fiST)

(1994 ranger, not me driving, person I sold it to)
have you flown in a ford lately?

edit* if you think tuning your car so you can going fast on asphalt is fun, try to build/buy a buggy, prerunner, or race truck...much much more cash but it's a whole next level of motorsports/fun.

2001 Focus (T-Boned and totaled)
2015 Fiesta ST

Mustangs purchase in High School when they were still cheap an very "used". Tempo is the worst car I ever owned and I vowed never to purchase another Ford.

My first. I actually never thought I would have gone ford, only until I test drove this car that is [grinking]

Yup...same here. Only test drove the FiST as I want an RS so just went in to see what else Ford had. Test drove it and the rest is history.

As for if it's my first, trick question as my first ford was a 93 probe GT which wasn't a ford so my answer to that question is: maybe.

I guess I inherited the Ford gene from my dad. He's had mostly fords, tried out a silverado and a 3 series for a while, but has had a Raptor the last few years. My sister got a 2007 Fusion and would still have it if she didn't get hit and totaled the car, she now has a 2013 Fusion. My younger brother seems to be the only non ford guy in the family, he's had a '03 BMW 330ci, and a e90 coupe that's pretty cool and modded.

1987 Mustang LX coupe 5.0 (crashed in rain with drag radials and skinny tires)
1987 Mustang LX coupe 5.0 (sold after fixing it up, more of a show car)
2002 Mustang GT (Supercharged and lots of fun, sold to pay school bills)
2003 SVT Focus (This car got me to buy into the hot hatchback, great car I bought used with 25,000)
1992 Mustang LX hatch (was going to be my project car, set up for handling)
2013 Mustang GT (Got tired of having to fix things on the 92 mustang and Focus, sold both to get the 2013)
2016 Fiesta ST (My first new car, traded the Mustang in because I wanted something smaller and nimble)

For the most part, Ford has been good to me. I know the 1987-2004 mustangs like the back of my hand, the only car that started giving me a few problems was the Focus, but it was stuff like the alternator, starter, fan controller, thermostat, coil pack, motor mounts, clutch...... I fixed a whole bunch of things and sold it with 70,000 miles on it. Kind of regret honestly. I had fixed most of the common issues and it was good to go for the next owner.

But it all lead to the FiST, which I hope will have no problems for a while. I'm planning to keep this one forever.

Not just my first Ford, the first car with an American name on it that anybody in my family has owned since my dad got rid of his Fiero in 1990. It's also my first car to have major British content.

Previous cars are all German or Japanese, and highlights include an E36 M3, E30 325IS, 190E, S14 240SX, Bugeye WRX, 8th Gen Civic SI, 3 NA Miatas, Mk1 MR2, Mazda2, and an AP2 S2000, which I still have.

Planning on an ST in the spring - would be my fourth blue oval. First was a 1959 Galaxie Town sedan (four door with a B pillar), a 1993 F150, and a 2009 F150.. From relatives I have driven for a week or more a '64 Ranchero, '65 Mustang, and '66 F100. Grandfather worked for a Ford dealer from 1946 to 1970 when he opened his own place so in some ways it is "in the blood."

Been mostly a Honda guy all my life but always wanted a turbocharged hatchback and the FiST fits the bill perfectly. Happy so far with over 5,000 miles so only time will tell how it holds up!

When did you sell the Torino and what did you get for it? Bet you wish you'd held on to it!
83 for 1800 with a pushed in quarter panel paid 2800 for it in 78. Yes I wish I had it now. Especially with the go fast parts available. Back then there wasn't anything but a crappy offy dualport manifold. I put a Marvin Miller nitrous kit on it. Ran sweet.
