What does the installation for this part involve?

The install is fairly simple, it will require removing and replacing the false floor and four bolts. The install video should be released after the product is released from the Pre-Sale.

I don't think there's much of a difference but I know in the pierce you do have to trim some plastic off to make it fit

Yes, I have the Pierce trunk brace.
As the Mishimoto trunk brace is not available yet I have not tested this one or even the TB brace.

I can only assume that all of them will provide the same performance enhancements as they all mount in the same location.

The trunk braces began to ship out last week in the order that they were placed. If you have not received your pre-sale or tracking info feel free to shoot me a PM and I will look into this for you.

We have not tested our trunk brace against any others so we can say for sure. However, all of the data on how our brace performed is published on our engineering blog, not to mention that our brace is direct-fit with no modification required to install. If you have any other questions let me know!

The pre-sale ended the first week in July. If you are still interested in the trunk brace, you have the option to go through one of our authorized distributors to save some money off of MSRP. If you are unsure of which distributor to choose, you can use our where to buy feature on our website to find the closest one to you.
