Sheep lol. Black sheep maybe. I made my points and you came up with manifold, again. I still don’t see why you think that car is the cat’s meow. Cheers mate!

The Simpson manifold and repackable race muffler exhaust system impresses me, that is pro grade motorsports stuff most people don't have access to. 5 lug conversion, the crossover pipe relocation, the electronic parking brake, the brake kit they partnered with HiSpec to create, now the widebody, looks like they are doing a tower shifter as well. I see plenty to impressed by and plenty that I have not seen before. Just looks like waaay more than a visa card and a parts catalogue to me.

I am not sure if the manifold is coated or not. There are coatings that are transparent or nearly so. The black customer car, the M -Sport edtion, with that manifold has it in white which I assume is probably ceramic or something. Looks like they have been running the car on track a ton and developing it as they find issues or areas of improvement. That gets my respect.

I guess I have a different appreciation for the unusual than most here.

Innovation and invention cannot be knocked. Every part in any catalog went through this same process to varying degrees. They are advertising the car and the parts for one reason and it’s not to win Le Mans. They are trying to drum up interest in their brand and the parts they are fitting to the car to make money. God bless em if they can make a living at it. I’m sure they hope someone someday swipes a credit card and purchases their wares. Either way it’s nice to see the FiST phenomenon is alive and growing even as it is nearing the end here. Nice jousting with you.

As a PSA update it looks like the manifold made 11hp on it's own on a dyno. Extended areas under the curve and particularly at the top end where it ran the power out another 1k rpm before falling off.

Some rally team independent of the shop tried one to test and immediately wanted a couple more.

Thats pretty impressive, extremely doubtful any worked over log manifold will come close to that.

Vudu made 11hp with upgraded turbo
That's probably about the most anybody will get out of a manifold. Its the best kind of power though, just there left on the table if you have the means to pay for it. Never seen a Vudu , I will look for it. This Simpson piece looks like welding and fab porn to me in the new video.

Ignore the intro music for 5 seconds and check it out.

I won’t even go into whether or not a tubular is a good idea for our engine. Whoops I just did👊

You must know something that race teams and engineers dont. Competition cars dont run log manifolds. Why would they put all the time money into equal length runners and fancy collectors if it's not a good idea?
