Thanks for the info on the stock fuel system you've posted across the FB groups! Most people only discuss the 300whp max on stock fuel system, where it actually really starts affecting AFR after "only" ~265hp and injectors can help with that higher RPM HP for sure... but you are also already maxing out the stock fueling at 300wtq on any tune or turbo combo that gets you there, even with ethanol on a stock turbo... Running Ethanol on a stock turbo you see the actual 2500psi requested start dropping towards the 2000 low limit actual starting at 285ft/lbs of torque... Bottom-line is if going with even "just" a hybrid, you aren't going to get any more torque but can hit the limit and add ~50whp on pump instead of ethanol.

Stock turbo on Ethanol: 220/300 - no way around this, custom tuning can only trade off a little torque for a little more up high using some tuning tweaks, but that's it...
Hybrid (say, standard Whoosh or X47R) on all stock fueling with 93: 275/300, and that's pushing AFR a little high for most peoples taste.
- Add injectors: ~310/300
- Add single port aux instead of injectors: 330/315 and also get valve cleaning and be capable of going ~360/340 with a BT... But carbon really isn't too bad on these cars, especially us guys who like to drive hard don't get that bad compared to first gen DI... but still, adding port injection on top of DI seems to be the way manufacturers are addressing carbon issues running only DI, so it's like factory Aux that can be tuned for! :)

So really, while no one talks about it as the 300 ft/lbs is plenty for most people's taste, but, yep, the HPFP limits torque *and* injectors limit HP with a hybrid...

Except aux fuel port injection is that needed that Ford brought it out on the RS engines Current MK8 european FiST’s and current european FoST’s. In a sense they realized the engines benefit from port injection. Hell they are getting upwards of 275HP out of stock turbo MK8’s with tunes because of them coming stock with port and DI injection.
Wow, that is literally like having Aux fuel stock, very cool!
