new wheels very loud

i got some wheels and tires off craigslist. they are super loud. like off road truck tire loud. the wheels rota grids 17x8 tires Yokohama 215/40r17 87w S drive. theres no vibration just really loud compared to stock. anyone else have the same problem

Check to make sure the tread is going the right direction on the tires. Might need to move them around to the right sides

Are the tires near the end of their tread life? Most tires get louder as they wear. And some tires are much louder than others in general. Tread pattern, tire compound, etc. Look up the reviews on the Yokes on Tirerack and see how people rate them on quietness compared to others. It may just be those tires.

I have the same wheels but with stock tires, I noticed that they are louder, than stock wheels.
