I am using set of stock wheels/tires for autocross. TPMS sensors moved from stock to daily driving Niche wheels + Yokohamas.
First time I installed tires at autocross event, did 4 runs and switched tires back.
Today I installed tires at home and got tires pressure light half way to the event.
At autocross, right in first session, white smoke came from under the front of the car at finish line. In second session it started smoking right from the beginning (course started with left turn) and through the whole course, at the turn mostly. It was also very hot (>100F).
Is it a coincidence or electronic trying to "slowdown" car because of "flat tire" (no TPMS may be the same as no pressure).
Oil level is OK, no leaks, nothing is happening if I revv in N. Came back home - 35 miles, put on Access Port, see nothing wrong driving around neighborhood.
Should I try again tomorrow (second day of autocross) or rather have some mechanic look at it?
appreciate all opinions
