Lol I tried with my engine I have now. But I'm thinking if Adam gets his stroker kit online, put in the stroker kit, modify to fully closed deck, sleeve it, mountunes oil control system and tabs, lightweight crank and forged bits, uprated springs and valves with Piper's v4 cam and port the heads.

Might as well do a full dry sump at that point also, since that is even safer yet than the Mountune baffle/trap door system. [wink]

Stage 4, if I built this motor it would be a dependant racecar. Trust me I know, I have the stage 2s and can't get the idle below 1100 -.-

It would have to have a wider body to support the traction mods it'd need. Especially bigger tires. Shit you see that video of the smart car with a hayubusa engine in it? It was melting through tires. The engine we mentioned could probably blow the chassis off the car. I would definitely get a warning danger to manifold on my PC.

You'd have to brace the cra* out of the chassis. On the other side with it being a dedicated track car who cares. You'll be doing maintenance more often anyways lol. I personally have been playing with the idea of making a rwd fiesta with either a 1.6 or a 2.3stroker making a flat 290-300hp.

Alright OP, here’s what you do: go out and find yourself a 98-00 Ford Contour SVT, running or not. Rebuild the 1.6 Exoboost, slap a trans from either the Fiesta ST of Fusion on the motor (whichever is easier to get to work with the Contour) and boom you have a lighter, easier to work on CSVT.

I suspect that if you pull the cylinder head you'll find the cause for your crankcase pressure event was a piston with a great big hole in it. If so debris from that piston will have been blown thru everything downstream of that cylinder. Means the Turbo is most likely totalled and the cylinder head for that cylinder will be damaged beyond recovery. Odd are also good that you had fragments blown into the crankshaft galley and your block is beyond repair. Basically what you have are some spare parts, such as the alternator, cam phasers, perhaps the water pump, and some pulleys and etc. items.

Good news an ecoboost from an Escape is an alternative and those typically sell in the 1000-1400 dollar range. BTW, I did some checking and the 2.0 Ecoboost is an engine option for the Escape. This sets me to wondering if the Escape 2.0 could possibly fit the existing mounts and transmission for our Fiesta. probably wishful thinking but there really isn't any substitute for more cubic inches. If we can pump our 1.6 up to 450 HP how about taking advantage of 2.0 and going for 525 HP. Actually spitballing a bit further I'll bet the Escape AWD package could be messaged to fit the FiST.

I mean a 2.0 transaxle swap from a FoST could likely be done relatively easily, probably just need custom driveshafts and mounts. That said unless you already have a rolling chassis Fiesta floating around it probably wouldn’t be worth the effort. The AWD system would be way to much custom fab to be worth it due to our torsion beam rear axle vs the escape/focus multilink.

Only one other car company has a torsion beam rear axle and AWD, and that’s Mazda but they have a special torsion beam.

I agree with most of your assumptions, it's possible the 2.0 could fit with our existing mounting locations, I also agree that the block may be screwed. I haven't opened it up yet so anything could have happened, it's been almost a year. But what I don't think will work is the awd. Not enough clearance for the rear diff under the car and also we have hubs in the rear and axle would need to be put back there with brackets fabricated. It'd get really complicated and definitely not an easy swap even if we do have clearance on our cars.
