The OP isn't mechanically inclined* This was a thread to help figure out the issue at hand. So let's figure out a place he could rake it for those near Op.

Allright, with that. Anyone in the OPs general area (Atlanta, GA) willing to help the OP out? This is a chance to get some Karma credits, because you don't know when you might be in a pickle and need outside assistance yourself!!

Thank you for all the responses guys. Sorry I was gone for a week dealing with life stuff. I tried joining a local Facebook group for FiST and FoST owners in Atlanta and may have found a lead on some people who are knowledgeable enough to assist with my problem. This is proving to be a real nightmare.

PS, I have not yet tried using electrical component cleaner on the connectors for the MAF. Considering just waiting until I can have a pro check it out. Don’t want to ruin it more than it already is.

The electronic CRC cleaner is meant to clean NOT HARM in anyways. I use it all the time. Keep us up to date!

Alright guys so I got the electronics cleaner and tried it on the MAF as well as the little wire harness attached to the aftermarket intake. Still throwing the P0113 IAT circuit high code.
I found some people in Atlanta who recommended a mechanic who should be able to help me get this fixed. We’ll see what they can do I guess.

Hey guys I just thought of something. My flex pipe is broken and I think I have an exhaust leak. If there’s an exhaust leak before the downstream O2 sensors, could this possibly be causing the engine code for P0111 or P0113? Car idles rough and pops/bangs a lot.

Get a New Catalytic converter* People are selling their Low mile Cats after High flow and No KiTTY Conversions. Try to get one under 50K for about $100-200* Slightly used.

Alright I’ll give it a shot. Really hoping this is it. When I cold started it in the winter I could see a steady stream of white exhaust smoke puffing out from where the cat converter flex pipe is. If this gets fixed I’m hoping the o2 sensors will maybe read correctly and assign the proper fuel/air mixture? I’m really inexperienced with this stuff though. Does this idea make any sense or is it dumb. I circled the part that is probably broken.

I haven't looked up those codes. Any leak before the upstream sensor is a problem. The downstream, at least with prior vehicles, was only used to monitor performance of the catalytic converter.

On my 2019 there is a IAT in the lid for the Airbox. Obviously you don't have a factory or Mountune ST200 Airbox and the corresponding lid has vanished. In addition you may not even have the original intact wiring harness harness for the lid. However on mine after replacing the air filter my car thru a code which FIXD correctly identified as an improper connection for the IAT. All I had to do to solve my issue was to reset the connector. Note, one latch was NOT engaged so that mistake was all on me.

As noted mine is a 2019 car so the 2016 may have a different arrangement. Hopefully someone with a 2016 will chime in and post on if their airbox lid has an electrical connector on it. If so your best option for a solution would be to find a complete factory airbox and lid. Failing that you should identify who actually made your intake and spend time with them determining what has gone haywire with their modifications.

This is also a lesson to anyone reading this why it's critical when purchasing a car with Mods to insure that every Factory part removed be packaged WITH that car. Note, this includes the Cat, Intercooler, and every part of the intake system.

Stumbled across this while enjoying my morning coffee in my “office”. It sure looks like the MAF sensor is in backwards. My red clip faces the other way. Switch it around and see what happens.

I could be wrong of course. Not enough coffee yet

Where is the air box? Is it simple enough for me to open it and replug it?

Thank you for the recommendations. I think I found a guy about an hour away. He owns 3 FiSTs and mods/races them. He seems confident he can fix whatever is wrong.
