I'm sure that works fine too. Either way, I like the option of retaining the factory hubs while still having the wheel I want. This is for those who want that as well.

Just out of curiosity. Did anyone ever inquire about having a 16" made? Never understood why no 16" option. The NB Miatas came with 15, 16 & 17" wheels. Not that 949 only caters to Miatas, but that is there bread and butter application. I would prefer a 16x8 over a 15x8 and I know a lot of other forum members that have been clamoring for a 16x8 application of any lightweight wheel.

16" just seems like an oddball size, but I can certainly ask about it.
I'm not trying to be a pain in the arse, I just think if we were to take a poll on the 16" if they were a possibility, you'd have more than 25 people sign on. I would prefer it personally, but from various other wheel threads, I've seen so many people asking for a 16x8. You can find a 16x7" but not that light weight

That would be amazing! But I wouldn't get our hopes up :(

Not unless they already have a 16in blank in the works for the miata crowd... Has anyone ever organized a cross platform group buy?? Hahaha

Just confirmed no go on 16 inch being an option.
I appreciate you checking. Just wish 15" wheels didn't look like poo on this car. You guys may like the look, but I would be trying these purely from a weight standpoint. 15" looks way too small in my opinion. Most car applications don't go 2 sizes smaller when looking for performance wheels.

I understand what you're saying, but with how small the Fiesta is I honestly don't think it looks bad at all.

Once the 17s come out they may be reasonable enough in weight to make it worth it.

Any guesstimates on the weight of a 17x8?

That's plenty light enough!!! 4x108 group buy PLEASE!!!!!
949 told me that they have a 17" 4x108 in development but did not share the width or offset. The OP (I think) said that 949 is working with FSWerks on a 17" 4x108 and that we should see something by the end of the year.

They are running their own deal with FSWerks so there won't be a group buy for the 17 inch wheels.
