I see you've got running boards fitted. Do you have to remove them in order to put your car on a jack?

Also, just to let you know, yesterday I got an e-mail telling me that my canards are on their way! Looking forward to getting them painted and fitted to my own FiST!
I made a custom pinch weld adapter that makes jacking up the car easy with the skirts installed. They still make it a pain in the ass though.

Any possibility of some details, pretty please? :)
I picked up an aluminum magnetic pinch weld adapter from Amazon and JB Welded it to a 1” piece of aluminum stock I had laying around. The diameter is the same so it worked out perfectly. Ugly but works. 58BA6020-45B8-4169-8344-417DF1480EA9.jpeg 3FB3E192-3E2B-4698-AA87-38420D72B61F.jpeg 6B034432-D2B5-4E5A-8291-0091AC11B619.jpeg

I dig the trailer, what kind is it?
Tennessee redneck model. He did a great job. I had to add brakes to both axles, a winch and a removable fender though. He used it to pull a buggy so it needed A LOT of tlc.. It pulls very easily and was super cheap aside from time I spent sanding and POR15ing everything.

I have something similar, works great. 👍

I actually tried a set of “permanent” Camaro pinch weld mounts first but sadly they didn’t work out. I typically lift the car really high and their gap was too tight to accommodate the angle before bending the pinch weld. That one looks perfect.

Pretty sure I asked this before but I think you've gotten more track time with them. How are you liking the RT660s?

They’re awesome. It’s probably all I’ll run unless something better pops up.

Hows the durability?
Not the best but that’s the sacrifice for better grip I suppose. I might get six hours out of them if I’m lucky. Definitely heat cycle them properly. It’s a pain in the ass but everyone I know that hammers them out of the box bitches about premature failure. I haven’t had any issues and attribute it to following the instructions from Falken. 😂
