Personally, I'm looking forward to another single tip option. My main curiosity will be res placement, and if it's flanged/jonted at the rear muffler or not. Pipe routing and res placement make a hug difference in sound, which is why I was originally planning on building my own, but this sounds like it will be close enough to make work. Either this or the FS Werks are currently on my radar

I prefer a single tip. My custom MBRP 3" with Vibrant resonator, muffler and anti-drone counterweight is loud on throttle and mild around town. I am confident a recent speeding ticket opportunity ended happily because the officer inspected a Fiesta with one exhaust pipe tip that looked and sounded (almost) stock at idle. Lot to be said for discretion and polite conversation.

I spent a lot of time trying to fabricate an aluminum exhaust system before springing for the 409 MBRP. If Russ can design and fabricate one that is durable its a wonderful option.

I wanted more sound for track, but the MBRP had too much sound on throttle around town no matter what mods I made to it. I am currently on a Mountune 2.5" that is lighter than stock, quieter than MBRP, no drone at 80 mph, but have not tracked it yet. May be a little too quiet for track, prefer to shift by note rather than rpm meter, have to see.

I've been running the DHM 2.5" aluminum exhaust for a while. I love how it has no drone and sounds so unique and deep compared to other exhaust systems over ridden in. It also is so light you can easily carry it with one hand.

I know its a custom job but I have been happy with my 3" DHM aluminum exhaust thus far.

Do you have a vid of the sound?

+1, but is there any particular reason why you did not go to a 3" DHM system on a hybrid turbo setup? [dunno]
That was built for another car. It had a quick spool kit we wanted quite and efficient so 2.5" was the good option

As DHM mentioned mine is a used unit. I got it off RodMoe and he was running a bigger turbo setup then I was.

You'd be surprised how much power the flow of 2.5" exhaust can make. Honestly for under 400 you don't need 3" exhaust. Obviously, there are exceptions to that, but as a general rule.

So no, I guess there's no reason not too, but you don't have to.

DHM will this exhaust bolt up to the stock downpipe? Or will it only bolt up to the downpipe a you sell with the turbo kits?

The DHM turbo kits are made to bolt up to the stock location of out cat back exhausts. The exhaust will work if you have a stock turbo or one of his turbo kits.

Can the DHM downpipes that are sold in the turbo kits connect to the stock turbo?
