DHM Factory location intercooler!!! Guaging intrest!

I am looking to do a group buy on some stock location intercoolers! It will be the same quality of our Race intercooler and Crash bar. We have got a lot of request for this.

The Core size is 22"x6"x3.5" Making frontal area 132" (bigger than most Fiesta intercoolers out there). We will use the same waterjet cut end tanks and Billet hose ends that we use on our race intercooler.

Here is our race intercooler for example of quality.

Price on the kit will be $475 shipped!! With Intercooler, hardware, and new tbolt clamps. This will be a simple direct bolt on and no modifications to your vehicle needed for install!

Depending on what the group buy/how much interest there is. If I can get 5 people to jump on board I will do the group buy for $425 Shipped! (international Shipping Charges may apply)

Would prefer it in black though but that is my preference. One thing I would also like is a kit of all new tbolts for all boost hoses.

Cobb has more frontal area. Core volume is close to the same though. Cobb has a great intercooler. Ours will be lighter and very very close to the same performance for a better cost.

At 22" x 6" it seems to me that it will have a smaller frontal area than most intercoolers, including stock (27.5" x 5.25")?

I think that measurement, like the cobb includes the tanks. Russ can chime in and confirm my thoughts.

You have to take into account the thickness. It's definitely larger than stock. DHM core volume is 462cu. in. vs. Stock @ 288.75. DHM's is comparable to Airtec and ATP and even bigger than Mountune's. Cobb's is still bigger. Numbers are from here.

Thanks guys! Yup Cobb's is bigger! We wanted to bring a low cost high quality intercooler for guys wanting something smaller than our big intercooler kit

I had no real plans for pipes. The stock rubber one and plastic cold side it's a awesome lol. The stock rubber has smooth transition from size to size etc. the only bad thing is the turbo out.

Does Cobb run a package kit?

We did plan on making the turbo out pipe. We make one for our turbo kits now.

I'd consider trying to be part of the GB, but I'm just starting to save towards an intercooler. I'm very happy to see another option at a much more friendly price. Was hoping you'd do something like this for those of us not quite wanting to go the huge intercooler route.

Yea silicon is nice because of the organic shapes you can make but $$$. Sounds good!
