Just got flash tune with Pop and Crackles, love it. Tune itself is great, very progressive, especially from take off. Car pulls very hard, I'm seeing about 24-25psi. As for PnC, It's not too obnoxious with Mountune CBE. I can live with it. I'll post videos later.

Well i just bought it. After all, it's just 50 bucks. What could possibly go wrong? :) I'll let you guys know how i find it compares to the Cobb's Stg 3. Now for the longest 48 hrs of my life. And it's Friday so i prob won't see my tune till Monday :(
Imho you don't need a log review, you're just buying extra shit you don't need. On the stock turbo nothing is going to hurt the car. Can't see how anything would.
Did you get the cnp? Id highly recommend getting the additional tune without them if you did opt for them lol
I have a turboback and it's really not that bad. It pops on upshifts and rarely on downshifts, it will start to really go but you have to make it do that. A second map with the CnP would be nice I guess.

For you guys that got a custom tune (big turbo, wastegate), what was the typical turnaround time from when you would send in data logs to when they would be reviewed?

If you are referring to Strat, I've waited 4 days+ and reached out to Alex and he said the turn around time for the tune is based on his work load. So no different if you bought a 50 dollar tune vs a 350$ tune. With my last tuner it was same day but the tunes were the shits of life! Idk if Strat has a tuned a BT on here as well.

Let me know how the Stratified tune is . We pretty much have the same mods and I'm getting super bored with Cobb stg3 tune . I barely got a Dodge Dart off my ass on 3/4 throttle .

I've beaten a stock Scion FRS and a modded Pontiac G8 GT on my stock car except the stratified tune on 93

Wasn't racing the dude . He kept riding my ass while I'm just normal accelerating . I had enough and got on it a little . I'm pretty sure the strat OTS Tune way better than Cobb 93 stg 3 tune

Hmm unless you have a BT I can't see a stock turbo fist beating v8 G8 , so you're referring to the v6?

I think the very first version for Strat was better than the Cobb ots map. It's really a no brainer dude to buy the Strat tune, especially for the price. You'll be amazed ,I would recon that it's night and day based on drivability. Power will just be smoother an a bit faster but that's bcuz of the K39.

WeTheNorth, it was definetly a v8 because it was very loud which is why I wanted to race it. I put about two car lengths on him from a 40 roll by the time we hit 80

Hmm, maybe he had a 4 cylinder cancelation or something, the LS3 puts out 415hp... you get where I'm going with this? You're putting out a max (depending on your fuel) 200whp? Maybe?

Either that, he was not actually racing (going 1/4 throttle to just try to stay ahead), misfiring like crazy and his slushbox was slipping, or it really WAS a 3.5 cammer V-6 which can sound pretty damned good themselves with the factory exhaust system the Aussies installed on them, and were not 'slouches' anyway. [dunno]

yea the Cobb tune is definitely not as shiny as when I first flashed it. top end is just dead.

I've been logging a bunch for the last couple of weeks as well so it'll be interesting to see what logging the strat tune shows.

lol you sure the driver knew you were "racing"? maybe it was an auto and the slush box took its sweet ass time downshifting.

Just looking for a little more bang for the buck over the Cobb tune. I will most definitely be trying to this soon

I just ordered my flash tune update. I mainly ordered the update because I want to try the snap/crackle but I'm also curious how the new V3 tune is compared to my current V2 one. I just said my only mod was the resonator delete because that's all I will have by the time it comes in. Hopefully when I put on my BOV it doesn't mess anything up.

For those ordering the exhaust crackles, I highly recommend getting a second tune without the crackles. You may not like it for daily use.

That's exactly what I plan on doing when I order mine, but with the TC feature (and probably the launch control) on both of them.

I will not even install any of the AP V3 tunes on the car after a short break-in, but go right to the Strat V3 Flash at that point. ;)
