I still have to do a full correction/go over in the spring. For now it's just trying to keep the salt to a minimum.
No, no front end protection... I'm not a huge fan simply because the clear bras, etc get the shit beat out of them and end up looking worse than if i get some chips.

Personally, I'm a "less is more" person when it comes to detailing. The more you touch the paint, the more you marr it, no matter how careful you are or what precautions you take. For this reason I don't wash my vehicles every week just to get the "dust off". Just my personal philosophy.
Does it need to be filled?
I ask because I haven't had good luck with Dr. Colorchip in the past. You may be better off using a DA if you have one. Or even (by hand) using something with "filler" qualities like Prima Amigo.

It does unfortunately, somehow the scratch is down the the metal. I put one coat on earlier but you can still see it.Going to try another coat on this afternoon.
