Anyone get water on the passenger floor board?

It was raining heavily this weekend and yesterday morning I came out and saw a puddle of water on the passenger floor board. Looks like water was leaking from behind the glove box. Has this happened to anyone?

The floor liners did a great job of collecting most of the water but the carpet still got wet.

Focus RS leaking passenger floor foot well.

Oh no! Was the rain blowing sideways?

No this hasn't happened to me. See if it happens again and if so I'd take it in.

Hasn't happened to me either, I remember reading on that the Focus ST had a similar issue from the A/C condenser but not the RS.

They said it could have came from the heater core but not 100% sure since it's all dried so they didn't do anything. Told me if it happens again then to bring it straight to the dealer. Gotta love the dealer incompetence around here.

Who's experienced water leaking on the passenger floor board in the Focus RS?

It happened twice to me, especially during heavy rain. I've taken it to the dealer and they can't seem to figure out whats doing it or where its coming from.

Wanted to see who else is having similar issues.

Here's a picture.

Finally able to figure out where its coming from. Apparently the rubber seal around the door isn't sufficient to keep out the water when it rains.

Some how the water is leaking behind the a-pillar and channeling down to the floor board.

Another update. Was leaking again during a rain storm two weeks ago. Had it in the dealer again and they said they clear up a clogged moonroof drain. Will update again with the next rain storm.

OMG after nearly 5 months they finally found the leak! It's the rubber seals in between the two doors that's leaking causing water to channel to the floor board. They are now replacing the carpet, headliner under warranty.

Better late than never! Glad they found it!
Be glad you don’t live on the east coast- your car would have floated away from the inside with all the rain we’ve had!

After a month and a half I finally got the RS back with no more leaks. If anyone similar issues, see the repair ticket below.
